“Better Hurry Up Or We’ll Miss Our Plane”
October 30, 2005
Taxi cabs speed by while people complain
Trains clack the rails and pennies feel no pain
Tireless efforts of a night nurse
Tied to the hospital bed yelling in spurts
Good boy scouts are let out to flee
In the back of a pickup truck with a long-haired beauty
Mountains in the horizon soothing souls
Missing the graffiti stickered basket tolls
Desert rain endowing ecstasy upon brains
Better hurry up or we’ll miss our plane
