“Very Altered Ego”
May 1, 2014
now that you’ve met me let me introduce you to my very altered ego
he’s not as nice, he sometimes bites, and might have lice
he growls, he snarls, he quarrels and never returns what he borrows
he’s real real mean never ever clean and always trying to show you something obscene
he prays with broken fingers in shattered glass with maniacal laughs
his tongue is green, his eyes are swirling, and his ears are folded
he has many scars from all the cars he’s been thrown out of
they crisscross his skin, protrude from within, his scabs are always flaking
his heart is made of old old gold, wait I meant, old old mold
but hey, at least he wears a tuxedo
