“Time is in the Wind” (acoustic demo)
(Whistling & Humming)
(Verse 1)
There’s a sound
Trapped in my head
Crept in one day
Won’t leave ’til I’m dead
It hums it hums
It whistles too
It bounces around
I think it’s blue
(Chorus)
Huh-uh-um, It’s time to live again
Huh-uh-um, Time is in the wind
Huh-uh-um, It’s time to live again
Huh-uh-um, Time is in the wind
(Verse 2)
Electric sparks
Love supreme
Energy’s gone
End of dream
Flicker flicker
Jump-start my heart
It’s time to live again
& Do my part
(Chorus)
Hum-uh-um, It’s time to live again
Huh-uh-um, Time is in the wind
Huh-uh-um, It’s time to live again
Huh-uh-um, Time is in the wind
(Verse 3)
I owe my life
To the love I’ve found
When I wasn’t square
You stuck around
When I was fist
You made me pound
When I was beat
You made me bound
When I was silent
You made me sound
(Bridge)
(Chorus)
Huh-uh-um, It’s time to live again
Huh-uh-um, Time is in the wind
Huh-uh-um, It’s time to live again
Hug-uh-um, Time is in the wind

*This is just a slowed down solo acoustic version of “Sound Trapped” with alternate lyrics. We were practicing this one time with Justin and he looks at us from behind the kit and says, “Let’s do that ‘Time is in the Wind’ song.” I always thought that was funny, so when I made a mournful version of this song which included those lyrics in the chorus. Also, my friend Anthony said after Justin passed he was smoking a cigarette outside and he could have sworn him call, “Yooo…”.
